  • L'Argentera

L’Argentera is a small village situated to the south of the mountain range of the Mestral. From the castle of St. Miquel d'Escornalbou, just above the village, we can enjoy an impressive view of the Camp de Tarragona (Tarragona country). The historic centre of the village still conserves its stone paving(in a red stone called ‘gres’) and the houses are one of the best examples of rural architecture in the county of Baix Camp. The landscape is typically Mediterranean: olive trees, hazels, pine forests, oaks, and interesting rock formations which encircle the village as if it were an amphitheatre.
